Child Protection

We do not tolerate any form of abuse, exploitation, neglect, or violation of a child’s privacy and rights. We are committed to creating and maintaining a caring and protective environment for every child we reach through our programs.

Our child protection policy focuses on four key areas of action: awareness, prevention, reporting, and response. We place particular emphasis on awareness and prevention to protect children and improve the quality of care they receive. Any reported child protection concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly.

This means that :

  • We empower colleagues, children, young people, and families to recognize the signs of abuse—and how to prevent it.
  • We teach the use of tools such as positive discipline.
  • We work to eliminate harmful cultural practices.
  • Any reported incident or child protection issue is carefully assessed and, based on the results of the assessment, concrete actions are decided upon and implemented. You can call this number to report any child abuse in our programs: +229 98 52 16 16
